Papatūānuku – Earth Mother. We are born from the earth, sustained from the earth, she is the mother of all humanity, and all creatures that grace her form. She is the Mother of Form. Here she is depicted as a beautiful young woman who is pregnant with abundance enough for all future generations, but we as a civilisation are aborting that abundance for our children and their children. My hope is that we awake from the insanity of capitalism and consumerism, and employ the thinking of all indigenous elders and plan and act for 7 generations to come.
