“My art form focuses on sacred geometry, which is the architecture of the universe and its sacred creation. My aim is to portray my artwork as a visual connector to the consciousness we are all a part of, reminding us that we are all cosmic diagrams of limitless potentials.”

“My art form is heavily based around Māori ancient knowledge and derives from a centered space of consciousness and spiritual wisdom. For me, moko is the journey of self-discovery, a symbol of spirit, mana, whakapapa and most of all, life force.”

The Team
Te Ahi Mānuka was originally established from our solar powered studio on the Gold Coast of Australia, where we embraced a way of life grounded in whānau, sustainability, and the values of Te Ao Māori. Having returned home to Aotearoa, we are now based within the creative hub of Ātea in Whakatāne.
Our studio is more than a place of artistic expression; it is a space where people can reconnect with their whakapapa, strengthen their identity, and nurture the wellbeing of their tinana, hinengaro, and wairua. Through tā moko, we create opportunities for reflection, healing, and transformation.
Tā moko is a sacred practice that reveals the stories already carried within. Through kōrero and connection, we work alongside each person to create markings that express their mauri, mana, and unique journey. It is a pathway to healing, empowerment, and reconnection with self, whānau, and whakapapa.
